Ryvo
A private voice call with a friend
Start a call, manage your microphone and check the right settings when ringing or audio is missing.
Sometimes you want to speak to a friend away from a salon gathering. A private Ryvo call provides that connection between friends. Sending an invitation does not start a voice conversation before the other person accepts.
Before you call
Open your friend’s actions or conversation and choose the call option when it is available. You need an accepted friendship and a state that permits contact. Blocking, an ongoing call or an account restriction can prevent a new call from starting.
Give your friend time to respond instead of calling repeatedly. If the invitation ends or is not accepted, check its state before trying again.
During the conversation
Check your microphone state and the person you are calling. Mute your microphone when needed and choose an available audio route or connected headset. Muting your microphone stops your outgoing voice; it does not necessarily mute what you hear.
If you switch between a speaker and a headset, check the audio calmly. Use the end-call action when you want to finish the conversation rather than assuming that leaving the screen closes it.
When audio is missing
Check the internet connection, microphone permission, volume and selected audio route. Ask your friend to check their microphone too. Seeing a call screen does not, by itself, prove that the audio connection is healthy.
When a call does not ring
Open the calls section in Ryvo settings and review its notification options. Some devices also require permission for call presentation on the lock screen or changes in system notification settings. Behaviour varies with the device and software version. Ringing cannot be guaranteed through every stopped-app or disconnected state.
If the problem repeats, note the time and what happened for each person. The log-sharing option in settings can help with further diagnosis when needed.
