Not every conversation needs a voice salon. Sometimes you want to agree on a time, share an idea or keep a small circle of friends in one place. Ryvo’s text groups are made for that kind of conversation.

Give the group a clear purpose

From the friends page, open chats and then group management. Create a group with a name your friends will recognise. The owner can invite friends, manage the name and membership, and close the group.

Choose a useful circle rather than adding everyone. The current group limit is 20 members and invitations. An account can have 20 active groups and invitations in total. Pending invitations occupy space, so review them when you reach a limit.

An invitation comes before participation

An invited friend can accept or decline. Being listed as invited does not mean they have joined and can read the conversation. Acceptance starts their participation and the message history available to them.

New members do not receive conversations from before they joined. If an earlier agreement matters, explain it again after they arrive rather than asking them to find a message they cannot see.

Keep the conversation easy to follow

Put your thought into a clear message and give others time to respond. You can browse older messages available to you, then return to the latest conversation. Groups currently provide text chat. Shared voice gatherings belong in salons, while a private call is another option between two friends.

Leaving and managing membership

A member can leave when the group no longer suits them. The owner can remove a member or close the group through its management options. Read the confirmation carefully: leaving a group is different from closing it for everyone.

Keep the group useful and comfortable. A smaller circle with a clear conversation is often easier to return to than a stream of messages whose purpose nobody remembers.
