Gifts, your inventory and the recipient’s share
Understand gift costs, inventory gifts and how the recipient’s share differs inside and outside a salon.
A gift might be a small rose after a friendly match or a surprise for someone who made the evening better. Before sending it, check who will receive it, what it costs and what share actually reaches their wallet.
Check the gift before sending
Choose the recipient, gift and quantity. Read the currency and total on the confirmation screen, especially when sending more than one. The size of a visual effect is not a reliable way to judge a gift’s value.
An inventory gift uses an item you already own. Sending that item from your inventory does not buy the same copy again. Check the available quantity and any expiry when the item is temporary.
How the value is shared
Under the current settlement policy, the app retains 45 percent of the gift’s value. Outside a salon, the recipient receives 55 percent. Inside a salon, the recipient receives 40 percent and the salon owner receives 15 percent.
When the owner is also the recipient, those shares combine into 55 percent. Settlement uses the gift’s own currency: gold for a gold gift and diamonds for a diamond gift. Gift points and salon progress are separate calculations, not the currency credited to a wallet.
An example you can recognise in history
A gift worth 100 gold outside a salon credits 55 gold to the recipient. Inside a salon, the same value means 40 gold for the recipient and 15 for the owner. Fractional results are carried forward in settlement, so you should not expect a separate fraction of a coin to appear in the balance.
The settlement policy also applies to gifts sent from inventory. Use wallet history to understand a credit, and read the current confirmation screen if the policy changes in a later version.
Keep giving comfortable
Choose something that suits you and give because you want to. A small gesture can be enough to thank a friend. Receiving a gift does not make you obliged to send one back.
