A salon is a place to settle in
Learn about listening, microphone seats and membership so your first salon visit feels natural.
Sometimes the best part of a game is the conversation before it or the laughter afterwards. A Ryvo salon brings people into one shared gathering, with voice, messages, reactions and activities chosen by the people running the room.
Find a room that suits you
Browse the salon list and read a room’s name and notice before entering. A salon may be public or protected by a password. Its attendance count tells you how busy it is, although not everyone will be speaking at once.
Following a salon makes it easier to find again. Following and membership are different choices. If you decide to become a member, read the conditions and any membership fee shown before you confirm.
Listening and speaking are different
You can enjoy a gathering as a listener. Speaking depends on a microphone seat and the room’s permissions. You may need to request a seat and wait for approval. Entering a room does not mean your microphone is open.
When you take a seat, check your microphone state and your phone’s microphone permission. Mute yourself or leave the seat when you would rather listen. Muting the room’s sound controls what you hear; it is different from muting your own voice for everyone else.
Join in at your own pace
Write a message, send a reaction or take part in an available activity. Owners can restrict chat, microphones and gifts through room settings. A missing action is not always a fault. It may depend on the room’s rules or your current permissions.
Help everyone feel comfortable
Give speakers time to finish and keep loud background sounds away from your microphone. If someone makes the session uncomfortable, check the actions available on their name or contact the room’s moderators. Leaving for a quiet break is always a perfectly reasonable choice.
